Ampthill Baptist Church is now twinned November 2008 - Latest News from Shafamer In November we heard again from Naoum, an elder in the Baptist Church in Shafamer in the northern part of Galilee. This is the church that is "twinned" with us here at ABC. The members of the Church have started to meet every early morning for prayer and "begin to see good things" happening in the church: Members who had left are recently returning to share worship again; new believers have joined the church; difficulties have been resolved and there is a new sense of teamwork in service of the Lord; the Pastor, Ashraf, and others are offering help to another struggling Baptist church in the area; members of the fellowship are enjoying social celebrations with each other. And Here At ABC... On November 9th at 6.30 pm Café Church will be an "Israel evening" when we will hear more about Israel and the Shafamer fellowship. All are welcome. _______________________ In May 2008...A group from the church visited several of the sites associated with the life and ministry of Jesus, in addition to meeting with a number of Christians across Israel.
