What is the ‘Hidden Figures’ Course?
This is a five-session course which looks at ten women in the Bible and the impact of their lives – in their time, but also what we can learn from them today.
The course is an opportunity to look at women who are less noticeable than some other Bible characters - they are ‘Hidden Figures’. Some are mentioned in only a few verses, but when we look at them we can see that they have significance. We can also see the way that their words and actions had an impact on the whole salvation story of the Bible. That impact therefore lives on into our own day and beyond.
In each session, as a group we will explore what the Bible says about the individual and how apparently small actions had a considerable impact. We then answer some questions to help us see the impact of our own lives, words and actions.
Who is it for?
The Hidden Fidures Course is very accessible and open to anyone whether you are new to the Bible or to Christian faith, whether you have studied the Bible for years or have never done so, there is definitely a place for you.
