Prayer

Prayer is of vital importance for everything we do. We regularly pray, in church services, in small groups, at dedicated prayer events and also individually.

Feel free to join us at one of our upcoming events specifically focusing on praying together.

 Ways we pray

Prayer Breakfast

Join us in person at ABC on the 1st Saturday of the month. We will eat breakfast from 8:30am till 9:00am then from 9:00am till 9:30am we will pray together.

We gather on Zoom on the 3rd Saturday of the month following the same timings, and as an extra bonus we all only have to do our own washing up, and of course don't need to leave the house to join the fellowship.

Prayer Central

Three times a year we call the whole church to gather together on a Wednesday evening for prayer. During this week, our usual small groups tend not to run and instead groups come together to the church to pray.

Each Prayer Central is slightly different, focusing on a different topic for prayer. We also make an effort to allow for many different types of prayer and reflective activities to suit all of us.

Sunday Mornings

Prayer ministry is available after every Sunday morning service. You can ask a member of the pastoral team, welcome team or a deacon to pray with you. We also encourage people to pray with one another.

Sunday Evenings

The Six Thirty service on the last Sunday evening of the month features worship, teaching as well as ministry time, where you’re invited to pray alone or with those around you. We have a dedicated prayer ministry team on hand during and after these services who are happy to pray with you.

Small Groups

Whenever our house groups and formation groups meet, they always include an emphasis on prayer. These groups pray relating to the topics they’re covering and also to support one another.

Prayer Emails

We send out prayer emails to those within our church who’ve asked to received them, so we can respond quickly and effectively when prayer is needed. If you’re part of ABC, you can update your email preferences through MyABC.
